Freegal Music Friday - Doom Edition #2

Fifth edition of Freegal Music Friday - Doooooom Edition #2!

The doom continues until March 15!

Here are some doom releases that can be downloaded for free through Freegal Music. (Don't know what Freegal Music is? See this post.)

Goliath "The Gate"

The re-release of the album called "Goliath Rocks" is also on the site and has two tracks missing from "The Gate."

Two tracks by Pÿlon from the "Doom All Over the World" compilation: "Ride the Pale Horse" and "Cannibal Coronal Mass Ejection"

Two albums by Trouble*: "Psalm 9," "Run to the Light," and one track: "Memory's Garden" from "Manic Frustration."

*I don't suppose they're really Christian, but they often get lumped in with Christian metal.

A doom metal round up

Since we're celebrating all things doom until the 15th, here are places to get your fix.

Victor Griffin's In-Graved digital or physical.

Four digital releases by Nomad Son here.

While you're waiting for the new Dalit release, you can check out the previous one.

Paramaecium (and more)

Physical copies of Paramaecium's albums will cost you. There are a few good places to obtain electronic copies, such as Amazon, Google Play, and eMusic.  However, here's an interesting one: you can get three of their albums from Guideline Records' Bandcamp.

They have many things there, including rarities by Schaliach and Groms!

A few more days to bring doom to an end.

Free: Evangelist

Two albums and one track by Polish doom band Evangelist are available for free on Bandcamp.

The doooooom continues!

Within the Torn Apart

For now, the doom continues. It will mysteriously and irrationally end on March 15!

Find two albums by Within the Torn Apart on Bandcamp.

Find more Within the Torn Apart here and here.

A free copy of their first demo is here.

More free albums from WTTA and related projects here.

Freegal Music Friday: Place of Skulls

Fourth edition of Freegal Music Friday - Doooooom Edition!

The doom continues until March 15!

Two releases by Place of Skulls can be downloaded for free through Freegal Music. (Don't know what Freegal Music is? See this post.)

1. "As a Dog Returns"

2. "With Vision"

Note: Freegal Music mistakenly lists the band name as Place of Skull for this one.

You can also download some other tracks on the band's website.

Free: Barabbas (Germany)

Get the instrumental funeral doom album "Golgotha" from Barabbas for free on Last.fm.

No relation.

This is the Barabbas from Germany, not the one from France. I'm not exactly sure what their deal is (the one from France, that is).

The doom continues!

Free: Cloth EP

It's all doom until March 15th!

Download a free EP by Cloth titled "By Jury of Peers" here.

Cloth features members of Dalit and Stronghold.

Free: My Silent Wake

From now until March 15th, doooooom!

Four free albums by My Silent Wake on their Bandcamp.

1. Silver Under Moonlight
2. Preservation, Restoration, Reconstruction
3. The Last Man EP
4. Acoustic Collection

And one unreleased mix of the song "Father."

More releases can be purchased here and here.

They don't consider themselves a Christian band now, if they ever did. Last I saw, Ian Arkley considers himself an agnostic.

Free: Agonal

From now until March 15, it'll be dooooom!

First up: get three free albums from Agonal on their Facebook page.

Other tracks can be found at Reverbnation and tracks from a new album in their Facebook timeline.

Free Albums from My Darkest Time

Free albums from My Darkest Time and related projects are available here.

Two albums are also available at their Bandcamp page.
